Overview

The collection Overview reflects the intimate and sentimental experience and perception of Slovak culture. I have been subjected to this experience with Slovak cultural identity for over ten years of living in the country. In elaborating upon this topic, I explore the unforgiving and harsh environment of Vysoké Tatry Mountains. By seeking answers on cultural questions, I am primarily inspired by the art piece Psycho-vertical by Slovak sculptor Štefan Papčo.  As a result, in the collection, I combine the uncompromising nature, power, and humility with a zero-waste approach and minimalism of geometrical patterns.
