Regardless of the possible predictability and routinisation of our lives, we all experience unexpected and unwanted moments, often on an everyday basis. Using geometrical shapes, such as circle and square, my intention is to re-create these moments, to evoke error, coincidence and deformation. I am inspired by the “perfect” proportions of human face and beauty that is often associated with it. I want to subject the beauty to deformation, to capture and embrace this moment and transform beauty into a product itself. As a result, I created dirty, asymmetrical, raw-edge silhouettes, reshaping and declaring new attributes of beauty.
